He was born in Konya in 1967.

education:

He graduated from primary school from 1974 to 1979 and from Erzurum Dum Primary School in 1979.
He completed his secondary and high school education at İzmir Karataş High School between 1979 and 1984.
He graduated from Gülhane Military Medical Academy (GATA) Military Medicine in 1984 as a medical lieutenant in 1990.
professional experience;

He was assigned to Kayseri 1st Commando Brigade Command in 1991 - 1993 administration.
He specialized in general surgery at GATA General Surgery between 1993 and 1997.
He was used as general surgery in Erzurum Marshal Cakmak Military Hospital between 1997 and 2001.
Academic career;

In 2001, Asst. Academic studies as a doctor.
Between 2004 and 2005, he received training on “Laparoscopic Techniques” at “Obesity University General Surgery” as a student at Washington University General Surgery located in Seattle, USA Washington State.
In 2006, he received the title of Associate Professor from Gülhane Military Medical Academy, Military Medicine Faculty, General Surgery Department.
Professor of General Surgery at GATA AD in 2013.
Between 2016 - 2017 T.C. He worked as a member of the Health Sciences University of the Ministry of Health.
He retired from public service in 2017.
Dr. Taner Yiğit is married with two children and speaks English well.
